I'll preserve that in my book of awesome quotes once I get my backup disks…
Ahh, awesome quotes. Like when some guy's legs fell off in Toribash and after my comments about drinking more milk to get stronger bones…

This is how you annoy him.
And me.

Hm.. I LIKE building buildings, but what about a Dawn of War style drop in?
As in, you train the units and hold them inside the building, then drop them in from orbit when you need them (as long as another troop/building is nearby the drop point).
Obviously ninjas would appear through ninja smoke. Pirates... Cannon balls? Lol. That would be awesome.
"LAND HO!"
*WHAM*
*Ker-tshhhh*
*Pirates swarm*
Vehicles should come from buildings though. I don't think dropping a cannon ball from orbit into a pool of water would make a pirate ship. We want SOME of it to make sense.
And we need some humor. Like some kind of silly conversations between commanders when certain things happen.
E.G- When ninja's smoke teleport inside a robot base.
ROBOT: "ZOMG HAX!"
Ninja: "..What?"
E.G2 Smoke thing again but on a human base.
Human: "THAT'S POLLUTIIIIOOOOOONNN!!"

not to mention that it would sink first
lmao
but what kind of buildings are we talking?
and since we're doing pirates/ninjas/etc
i'm thinking we either pit them against eachother OR institute a system or ages kinda like Civilization or the Age of series
like pirates vs. ninjas vs. chainsaw men vs. robots
OR
ninjas, then pirates, then chainsaw men, then robots
but then to make sense it would be funny to put cavemen before it
xDD
also, if we do the system of ages AND put in cavemen, i want to put in a hero system
and the cavemen's hero unit can be Fred Flintstone, the ninja's hero unit can be Jackie Chan, the pirates hero unit can be Jack Sparrow, the robot's hero unit could be Bender and the chainsaw men's hero unit can be a game-ified version of the real-life Colicedus
LMFAO
XDD
EDIT:
I just realized that in giving random ideas like this, i'm tearing apart the foundation of the game
oh well...back to the drawing board?

I think we'll stick to original characters...
Atleast I've got a ninja name ready.
Kamatari Tsukasa. Thanks to random ninja name generators.
As for buildings... Hm.. Crap.
Pirate buildings would all be made of ships. The HQ would be the Flagship. Obviously, buildings are built on land. So the pirates normally crash ships on purpose to build.
Let's add a futuristic theme to this. Like Pirates use space-ships. Literally. lol.
Not space battles, but when they build a space ship hovers above the ground, then crashes and the builders make it into a building of some sort.
Obviously it would be made of wood and have space cannons. With space cannon balls. And space.
And tanks that look like pirate ships on wheels with a big cannon ontop.
Chainsaw army/nation/whatever-
They must have a Chainsaw robot. Like, a robot, with Chainsaws for hands. And Chainsaws on their feet. Like chainsaw skates.
All buildings would probably have some form of engine or saw blades on them.
Ninjas.. Well, they'd be ninja-y. Like ninja academies and stuff.

ninjas are set
pirates can have like wood buildings or summat...
and chainsaw men need to be a little less overdone...like...just having a chainsaw is enough but like the buildings could look like saw mills or something maybe...

Personally, I say throw out the chainsaw men. I mean, I can see the Pirates and Ninjas aspect, especially if you're going for satire and some humor...but I don't see what you can do with chainsaws to make them interesting enough to hold someone's attention.

P.S: If you can't figure out what's up with the capitalization and stuff there, you're either new here or stupid.

This is one of those moments when a word seems correct for a while, then it seems completely wrong and you stop using it.
(Oh, f***, I sense an innuendo of some sort here…)
(OH, F***! "Oh, f***" is an innuendo too!)
(…)

Like the words, "sodomy", "pedophile", "incest", and "hamster".
