In Halo 1 a single pistol could complete guilty spark easily.

Nowadays you need two. And even then the AR is the better option.

Invertin is right old bean, the pistol is now hideously underpowered, you could get through most of the game with nothing but a pistol, and yet now, the pistol takes nearly 1 whole clip, just to bring down 1 flood, plus WHYISHALO1STILLNOTAFREAKINGOPTION, old chap??

What did you expect? The pistol isn't supposed to be a be-all-that-ends all weapon. Plus, the pistol has what...7 rounds? 10 rounds? Can't remember, still thats pretty good.

As long as you hit people in the head, it downs people rather quickly.
SMG/Pistol is a nice combo, use the SMG to down their shield then shoot them in the head.

I played through Halo 3s single player, I'd say the single player feels a little less detailed as opposed to halo 2s single player, but the multiplayer, wow thats pretty horrible multiplayer right there.

I think the multiplayer itself is perfect, but the community is made entirely of 12 year olds, dicks, a mix of the two or people who don't use their mics at all.

Fortunatly I'm part of section 3.

That's why you should only play multiplayer games on a computer. That's also why Halo 1 is better. If you have Vista, you can get Halo 2 for it, but I don't have Vista. …no other sane person does, either.

My mum has vista on her laptop (it was pre-installed), and there's nothing wrong with it, it's pretty much just a fancier version of XP.
