that one of the songs i wrote is going to be on a compilation disk for unsigned artists...and sent to radio stations and record companies...and put on a bunch of online stores like itunes, rhapsody, napster, wal-mart and amazon...and that i get 50% of profits made on the song...

that's pretty cool, but it sounds like they might have thrown you a ringer or something, you know since they put it on a compilation disk that will probably be sold pretty cheap and if they put other artists music on there too they can't give you fifty percent of the profits from the disk only from the song which if they put on enough other artists songs, and kept fifty percent for themselves might equal out to a few pennies per disks, add to the fact that it's of unsigned, possibly unkown artists, you might not make much money at all. still good luck hope it goes well for you.

the disk goes for $10 on online stores and then they send me 50 copies at $3 each (shipping/convenience...?) that they recommend i sell for $8 each which if so adds up to $250 profit right there
so...i'm still pretty stoked
