World of Goo

Lugaru
Savage 1 and 2
Aquaria
Zombie Smashers 1, 2, 3 and 4: Guitarpocalypse
Stick RPG (for real, StickPage was my second home during elementary school xD)
Machinarium (when it comes out)
Deadly Creatures (granted you have a Wii and don't hate that THQ grabbed it)
The Maw (if you have a 360)
Knytt and Knytt Stories
El Ballo (if you're on Mac and like 2D Metroid games and sex jokes, then this is like heaven for you)
Darwinia
Escape Velocity Nova
Spore (joking!)
Eh...running out of indies that I really liked...

Hi, they call me Australian Bushman (Bushman or Bushy or short)
I came across Overgrowth and the Wolfire team on Moddb, attracted by the weapon-wielding animals (they look awesome!). I've since gained respect for their emphasis on good design and efficient technology.
To be honest I'm not a huge fan of indi games (yet). I've never really explored the genre. I mostly play Valve MP games like TF2 and L4D (because I like their service, community support and fairly cheap prices) and a couple of mods. I also haven't played Lugaru, either, but I will once I pre-order Overgrowth.
Oh yeah, and this concept by Aubrey here:
http://cdn.wolfire.com/legacy/catB.jpg is totally awesome, and has inspired me to skin
my own cat for Overgrowth

Hail countryman!

If one was to class the big commerical developers/publishers by level of buntery, EA would be the biggest bunts, and Valve would probably be the least buntish, just after perhaps THQ, with Ubisoft in the middle.
Did I mention that I don't like EA?

Hey, i hear ya! Totally with you on EA and Valve. THQ ain't great in my books as they didn't publish their titles on Steam for Australia (and other countries I assume) until a while go. Ubisoft have lost my respect. They keep coming out with "big titles" that don't live up to their expectations.
As much as I have disliked EA in the past, I'm eager to see how they go from this point onwards. They seem willing to pull their reputation back up however I don't have faith in them just yet.
Valve are just plain kicking ass. They may not be perfect, but they're definitely striving towards perfection, and they'll get there at the rate they're going. They actually listen to the community use it inspiration... amazing! This just reinforces how well Wolfire will do with their community.

Hey welcome to the forums.
As bad as Myst 5 was in comparison, I have to say that Prince of Persia, published by Ubisoft, was a pretty awesome game, despite being pretty damn easy. Assassin's Creed, on the other hand, describes exactly what you are getting at.

Yeah, it is. However, the thread derails from time to time between new people.
