That's how most things get done in my town,through vandalism and theft, One time they wouldn't clean the pool well enough so some of the seniors actually took a shit in the pool.

it doesn't sound that bad actually. he said he doesn't like drugs, and he said he was vandalized first, which is true doesn't justify him vandalizing, but it does provoke him, he didn't vandalize anyone's house or anything of particular value, nor did he vandalize with gang signs (as far as I know), and because of most of this I'm guessing he's kind of middle class and the neighborhood is probably not very dangerous or ghetto.

You talk about the two as if they are opposites. Neither of them are directly related. Socialism refers to a set of economic theories. It would have made much more sense to compare Conversatism and Liberalism. Conservatism generally refers to the censorship of anything radical or conflicting to current principles of politics or society. Liberalism is the other side of the coin to this, and conversely to conservatism it entails the support of the prospect of change, the support of your fundamental rights and freedoms as a human being (e.g. right to life, limb, liberty, freedom of speech etc.) and generally a restriction on the power of the government executive to take away the rights or freedoms of a citizen.
