Kanga tastes great! Very tender meat, like lamb but tastier. We usually have it with dukka or bush spices.Jimmy Jazz wrote: errr... yeah Australia is pretty awesomeall tough I've never had kangaroo BBQ before.

No, clearly you don't. It's not on Home And Away or Neighbours, therefore Australians don't do it.

Actually, after talking about kanga today I ended up cooking it for dinner with... guess what? Dukka and bush spices.Renegade_Turner wrote:No, clearly you don't. It's not on Home And Away or Neighbours, therefore Australians don't do it.
Fancy that.

Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
Lies. The schwings in Home And Away don't do that.
Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
There are at least three things we do that are rarely featured on Home and Away or Neighbors. Killing British tourists, for example. Stuffing corpses in barrels. Taking credit for other countrys' actors. That sort of thing.
I'm not sure if the dukka and bush spice thing is true. Sounds a bit far-fetched.
And what the hell is a schwing?

I'm all for stuffing British tourists and killing corpses in barrels. Taking credit for other countries' actors, though? That's simply not on. Not on at all. Awful stuff.
What is a schwing, you say? Please observe the following educational video.

Well, I know a couple of Australian people, and their all right, but you know what would be even better than national Australian day? National half-Mexican day.
P.S. if i made any grammar mistakes, please dont hesitate to fix them, and I just got back from rugby, and i broke one of my fingers.

Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
That might go down well for the people of Half-Mexico, but is of limited use to Australians.
Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
Yes, Yes it would all go down with my plan to make all half-Mexicans like my self emperors of the world.
P.S. I heard today that Australian money was made of plastic, and I was just wondering if that were true of not.
P.S. I'm not European, or from the UK I'm a half Mexican American who moved to London, and I might actually move to Australia in the next year or so.

Haha! What can be far-fetched about a recipe? I did have those exact ingredients last night and I recommend it. Sure, it may not be a well-known Australian dish or anything. I'll take a photo of the spices if you like, and the extra skippy thigh in the freezer.Groveller wrote:I'm not sure if the dukka and bush spice thing is true. Sounds a bit far-fetched.
And now we're about to have prawns for lunch... in a frying pan!

Re: AUSTRALIA DAY!
Plastic money rocks. If you find money in the washing machine or drier it is still fine and can be easily stolen and no one willl ever know...however ironing it causes shrinkage.
We only steal actors until they do something wrong. Russel Crowe for example was always referred as an Australian in our newspapers until the 'phone throwing' incident at which time you wouldn't find an article on him that didn't begin with - New Zealand born actor Russel Crowe threw a phone at some guys head etc etc.
Australia day was awesome though.
