AUSTRALIA DAY!

The best day of the year is fast approaching my fellow man, a day to celebrate Australias brilliance. All you other Aussies what are your plans for the day? If any others wish to comment feel free...
I for one will enjoy a beautiful day in Queensland, spend the morning at the beach - return home beer in hand, eat a barbequed kangaroo, have a swim in the pool and eat a beautiful meat pie. The more stereotypes the better, heck why not throw a couple of 'shrimps' on the barbie.

If we're talking stereotypes, I've been working on my monocle...
I'm on the other side of the world, so it shouldn't matter to me. But Australia is awesome. And I think I have an uncle over there or something.

Irish cider and Italian grappa mean I have an Australian hangover.

Irish cider is crap. Rotten on the stomach. I prefer lager and buckfast. Wahey.
Oh and gotta love the Aussies. They're so lovable, they don't know what's going on at all.

I watched the cricket, swore at the Proteas, ate chips and acted as a stereotypically apathetic Aussie relaxing in the last few days of his holidays.
Country New South Welshman here btw

The only accents I can do are the random accent I made up, english and mariotalian. I tried an Austrialian accent but I ended up with something that was half scottish or something. :/

And the Irish are renowned for their wisdom.

That's why the two get along so well. We're all a bunch of thickies.

James Joyce, Seamus Heaney, W.B. Yeats, Oscar Wilde, C.S. Lewis, John Montague, Pádraig Mac Piarais, Samuel Beckett, Maeve Binchy, Eoin Colfer, Colm Tobin.

I can see you're trying to make a point, there, but I honestly can't tell what it is. Care to elaborate?
Edit: Even with the rewording, I'm still unsure.

Umm...last time I had kangaroo it tasted alright. Cant really remember it much so I dont think it would have been bad...the thing I remember most was the smell whilst it was being cooked...YUCK!

Kangaroo is alright. Its not too different from your normal meats just slightly more...i can't describe it but its not very different at all...it just gives you a good feeling to eat a national emblem.
We aren't thick....we're something else...damn, I lose.
Cricket was a shocker...good job to the africans though, they just keep beating us. New South Whales aye? looking forward to the origin this year?? I know I am.
