Best touch app.

Post by shadow717 » Sat Feb 14, 2009 7:58 am

so, I got an ITouch about a month ago, but a lot of the apps that I've downloaded are just plain out shit. I'm wondering, for those who actually have touches, what is you best app.

Eg.
Fantastic contraption:
price: $7.99
Graphics: 8, stylized but entertaining
Gameplay:fun, but difficult due to the physics based gameplay.
description: a fun physics based puzzle game, that utilizes the ipod touches touch screen to it's full ability, plus it comes with a level editor, and the ability to download levels online, wich makes this have a long lasting appeal.

Cuberunner/Cuberunner 2 are both pretty fun. Touch Air Hockey is a nice 2-player game, as is Paper Football. If you want a ghetto version of guitar hero, there's the Tap-Tap rhythm game series. I believe you can get Pac-Man as well, but you have to pay for the full version. (Note- I don't even have an iTouch, but these are all games I've played on a friend's.)

Cuberunner- basically a game where you're trying to dodge boxes with some kind of ship. Only controls are steering by tilting the iTouch to the left or right.

Touch Air Hockey- Selfexplanatory, much? You control an air hockey stick with your finger and try to score on the AI or your friends.

Paper Football- Another self-explanatory game...

Tap Tap- You've got three bars with dots rushing along them like in GH. Basically the same concept as GH but you tap the dots instead of using a fake guitar to hit them in rhythm.

Pac-Man- ...

I don't know if you're talking about an iPhone/iPod Touch, but if you are, there's this thing called SoundGrenade. It's free. You probably wouldn't like it. All it is is this extremely high-pitched screechy noise that annoys people. So if you're in a crappy movie or something (heh heh heh...) you can just turn that on and watch people around you say "OMG where's that coming from?"

:P 'Tis be hilarious.

EDIT: Oh and btw, just like the guy above me I could never afford one of these. But I've played it on other people's.
