Oye! Help Me!

Post by Lotus Wolf » Tue Feb 17, 2009 6:15 pm

do you guys like snow? cause there's about 8 feet of it stacked against my front door, not to mention my driveway, and the rest of my house.
anyways, if anyone wants to take some home, please come dig me up. if you can find me... the house must look like a pile of snow form the outside by now... (I can't get out)

just joking about "come help me" but if you wanna... :P
anyways, my internet is the only way out of here right now. I'll start digging out tomorrow...
no need to worry, i've got plenty of the canned goods, so i'll be fine even if i have to wait till spring.

this has happened before, the water lines don't freeze as long as the power stays on, and there are air shafts. if the power goes out, i have tons of bottled water. winter is a pain in the arse guys, never live in a place with hard winters. :?

I live in freezing winters, but we don't usually get too much snow. (I almost got a frostbite today)
Well, at least you'll survive.

yeah we live on the coast so the snowfall's only a couple of feet and it only gets down to about -30º F during the coldest parts of winter. I'd hate getting lots of snow.

yeah, its a pain, the landline for the phone is dead now, not sure why dialup still works but it does. the temperature outside is -7º F right now but there's still a ton of snow, so i hope the windows don't shatter with all the snows weight on them... anyway, my fish tanks are still alive, so that's heartening.

Atleast you have snow. We had about three days of snow in winter, and that's considered alot of snow over here in england.

Maybe if you put salt just outside the door you'd be ok. It was salt that got rid of snow, right?

During those three days my friend rolled up some snow into a ball about the size of his head, maybe a bit bigger.

Thank god it was a revenge snowball and not meant for me.

its raining here.... :( here when it snows it allways melts before the day is over. i all most never get to go sledding. all tough one time when i went to my grandmas house me, my bro, and one of my cousins rolled up a humongous ball of snow.
when we couldin't roll it any more we chiped out a sizable chair out of it. :D

EDIT: it was about this size

Nope. I live in a little town somewhere near bristol.

Actually it might have been 4 days of snow, but the first day had a very small amount of snow. Enough that a snowball fight would effectively remove all of the snow from the ground.

every winter except last year, dunno what was going on last year but i was spared the snow.
this year i thought it was gonna spare me again, but then it laid in 3 feet over night a few days ago, and continued to do so every night since. the sun is out today, so lets hope it stays out. i also lost power last night around 4 AM and it only just came back on (1:30 PM).
