Delete memory?
Delete memory?
How do you delete memory of stuff you don't want off your Mac?

Re: Delete memory?
You can use Unix's remove file/directory command, although I'm not sure if that deletes it, or writes over it, like emptying trash does.

Re: Delete memory?
I'm fairly sure Mac's do a good job of writing over old memory as is, as long as you've emptied your trash and download a couple of movies every night.

Do you mean invisible files?
Re: Delete memory?
You can use AppZapper
http://www.appzapper.com/
Just drag and drop the icon in AppZapper, and all the prefrences etc. get deleted too.
