So yeah... Yesterday morning a tree almost fell on me (big tree, tall and thick), and then later that day my chainsaw exploded in my face. Since then I've been seeing weird sh*t, such as shadowy figures that others don't seem to notice. Early this morning I woke up with one such figure standing at my bedroom window. I didn't dare go back to sleep after that. Other weird stuff's happened today as well, like whispering voices when I know that I am completely alone. Sometimes when I stop thinking about it I'll feel a touching sensation between my shoulder blades, or on my cheek, and that will get me thinking about it again...

Maybe I'm just paranoid about something, but this is weird... Any ideas?

On topic: Eh, I've had that feeling before. It's really frigging' scary. I tripped down the stairs two days ago, the stabbed my self in the leg with a pencil, then someone broke into my house and stole my parents GPS, and I swear my house is haunted. At night the weirdest noised happen, like thumping noises, and I swear there is something downstairs moving around in the darkness. It's weird.

I guess it's OK, as long as they're not telling you to burn things, or to take all your clothes off and drive to the mall...

In my opinion it's probably just your mind doing strange things now. Some things that are unexplained, possibly traumatic, happened earlier (tree and chainsaw) and now your mind is trying to justify it with something paranormal. The shadow figures are probably regular shadows which your brain is interpretting as a person, but really it is just similar to a person. The noises are continuing because your expecting them to now, I've had that problem before too, really scary, but your head is just making them so no ghosts. The touching might just be an ordinary random tickle that seems like it's a ghost.
You'll be fine. Just keep reasuring yourself that it's just your mind playing tricks and eventually you'll stop thinking about it.

Paranoia is easily caused by what might be little more then coincidental events. Though, if that all happened to me, I'd be looking over my shoulder, too. As for seeing figures and hearing voices, when I've thought I've seen/heard those, I tend to pay more attention to it and check out where it's coming from to see if there's anything causing it, and if I can't find a rational explanation, I just kind of shrug and find something good on TV.

Thanks guys, I'm not as worried anymore, i'll just keep going on with life and it'll go away eventually.

hmmm... where you cutting down trees? because then its normal for a tree to almost land on you...

Its normal to be scared.Even when i was 9 years old i thought that there was a kidnapper behind my bathroom door.Even now when my parents go out and i am alone in the house i hear noises like water dripping, dog barking, people opening my door.And sometimes i feel that there is someone in my kitchen.
This is physcological and its just normal.Read reviews online that help you to get rid of such fears.It helped me get rid of my Kidnapper fear.

If you stop to think about this, surely, if these feelings are created by imagination, then if you replace the negative thoughts with thoughts of a successful outcome, this will help lower your stress.

For example, you may be scared of flying, because you worry about the plane crashing on taking off or landing.

If you can try and focus on something totally unrelated to the worries you have as the plane is leaving or landing, this will take away the nervousness you have, and help you stay calm and relaxed.


Remember, the way you think forms how you feel, so, you create your own fears.


When you start to concentrate on things that might go wrong, or when you are fearful about something, replace your thoughts with a positive, successful outcome.

Try thinking about a past event that you enjoyed to take your mind off your nervousness.

Or you could just scream and run for the hills. No? Okay, fine, just remember, THE HILLS HAVE EYES...
