What do you people think about this outbreak?
Lol fear campaigns. So far under 30 people in 4 months have died. It's not like it's going to wipe out our entire race.

Most of the cases are people with the common cold freaking out and thinking it's swine flu.

"Yeah, hi nurse, I've got a cold. What should I do? Should I panic?"

You're more likely to get into a car accident while being struck by lightning. There's how many cases in the United States? 245? Out of some 300,000,000 people? Your odds of getting the swine flu are one to 1,224,490.

It's not the catching part. It's the fact that it's completely harmless.

If you caught swine flu, there'd be nothing to worry about. Unless you lived in mexico. As far as I can tell, the vomiting and stuff is making them dehydrated. Dehydration + hot country = bad things.

But even there the death count is incredibly low considering the amount of people infected.

plus if you've read anything, you'll see that people actually do catch swine flu occasionally, but that this is just a mutated strand, completely treatable with four medications already readily available, two of which are actually recommended, however it is unlikely that you would need to as it is no more deadly than the common flu, and much less common.

Ok guys. Big warning. We are all on level 5. level 6 is pandemic. When that occurs, well...look at Mexico.Cinemas closing. Schools closing. At the moment, things are ok.The only ones dying are 40 mexican slum children. But come winter time, it CAN mix with the normal flu virus, causing mutation, which we have NO IMMUNITY TO. There will be deaths in flu season. Winter. Merry christmas folks. This is why the world is on alert. I suggest food storage. Fast.

I actually find Spartan X's post funnier than Zhukov's. I think the reason for this is because Spartan X is serious and Zhukov isn't.

:?...

Well, thank God for that. So long as it's only Mexicans slum kids dying, then everything is okay.
Christ, I sure hate to think of white, middle-class americans dying of Swine Flu. That would be tragic.

I didn't mean that in racial manner. I meant it is only killing those who are extremely immune and who'se bodies are proably are fighting 20000000 other diseases.

I thought it was more a they're less immune because they can't afford medicine and stuff, and they're in extreme heat with fevers.

DId that guy just say "the reason they're getting the virus is because they're immune to diseases"?

Yeah, that's what I thought, too... I think I may be confused... Somehow... maybe.
