Well, since this topic is labeled a serious issue, I might as well throw it out there that I'm really upset now. My depressed best friend went missing. I've had to talk him out of suicide twice now. And we can't say that he's not gonna do it just because he's been talked out of it (see also: Kurt Cobain).

That seems more like someone trying too hard to seem zany than someone actually being insane.

Now, my friend Shane is deemed as clinically insane, and sees a psychiatrist because he occasionally has anger fits when he sees this one girl that he was friends with until she accused him and his friends of raping her. She even reported it to the gardaí. One time he was literally going to try to kill her. He's calmed down these days, but still gets anger fits.

Now, THAT is what insane is. You're not in the slightest.

Wow, I really hope that works out for you guys. Hopefully he hasn't done anything yet, has he been gone for a long time? Like days? I hope he just ran away for awhile, tried to get away from everything. That's typically my idea when I get depressed but he is a different person and he has tried it before. But I'm sure it'll be alright in the end :)

I saw a girl smashing her head against the sidewalk once, and then security guards came over and restrained her, but still it was pretty bloody and disturbing. I think that's insane.

Wow. I saw my mom smashing my sister's head into the sidewalk once. It was pretty bloody and disturbing. But everything was all right when the police came and shot my mom to death, and then raped my sis. I stayed and watched. It was quite enjoyable, actually, to hear her screams for help and do nothing.

really blood shard, this thread is about helping with serious issues, and you just critique away, obviously he wants help. you should be ashamed of yourself. the problem here is, I think he feels like some kind of loner or that he's left out just cause the cops didn't ask him to join in.
Edit: this is getting too inappropriate huh?

Why would him being insane or not being insane have a bearing on someone's respect for him?
