Agreed. Spend your time in whatever you have, then worry about the fancy cross-platform tools you'll use on official products later. Don't be afraid to put up tech demos that come out of your learning though. ^_^

I think i should put KraKK on hold for several months.

...And learn to code some stuff first.

If you're just starting out with game coding, seriously consider getting the Flash 30 day trial. Great for small beginning gamemakers.

Python is also great, though I've never actually used it for a game before. I do know that Blender has a 3D game engine built on Python.
