So I'm starting a social project...using music...

So I figure Brokencyde is one of the biggest "Myspace bands" out there right now and Hollywood Undead are pretty popular too...so I'm starting my own project and modeling it after bands like that.

...and when I say I'm modeling it after bands like that, I'm serious. Down to the lyrical content and everything. I'm adding my own personal touch (hardcore breakdowns, more complex instrumentals, etc) but for the most part, it'll follow the idea started by them.

Now for the project part. I'm gonna keep making songs like this and I'm gonna see just how popular I can get. So do me a favor and pass it on to people you know that like bands like that (crunk or whatever they're called). It'll be much appreciated. =D

I know most of you will say the music sucks. I just wanna know just what makes bands like this popular. Help me out.

Lol good luck with this but I don't think screamo is really your style, the noises in the background worked but the screaming not so much. Then again I hate Brokencyde so maybe it's just me. Hollywood Undead I would appreciate though.
I'm not sure how bands like this get so popular, HU I think is genuinely talented, but when it comes to Brokencyde I have no idea what the hell people think is so great. Then there are PLENTY of people who think the exact opposite, I'll ask some Brokencyde fans tomorrow what they like about them but most everyone is asleep at the moment so I can't right now. Maybe the reason that they're so popular is because of the average myspace user, the majority are between the ages of 10-30 I assume, and this is just kinda whats been in during our time. Dunno.

Haha, ask them about my song too. What they do and don't like. It'll be much appreciated. Also, I know plenty of people that can scream so I can get that fixed if needed. My own brother is significantly better than it than I am. I do plan on continuing this. It's a social/marketing/appeal experiment that I'm going to take and give to the masses in some way/shape/form.

I've only had 2 opinions on the song other than yours so far btw. One was a Brokencyde fan saying this was now their fav song. The other was a diehard Brokencyde fan that said it needed more and better screaming and a lot of less than desirable comments.

Okay so I gave your song to my friend who likes Brokencyde and Hollywood Undead a lot, she said it was funny. Yeah lol. And when I asked why she liked Brokencyde she said something like, "I just like them, I don't really know why."
