Blizzard, Blizzard, Blizzard...

Post by Blorx » Sun Aug 02, 2009 6:58 pm

Anyone else wish they'd stop cranking out new projects and finish the ones they already have?

So far we've got:
- The Starcraft 2 Trilogy
- Diablo 3
- An unannounced next-gen MMORPG
- The next WoW expansion
- Indefinite postponement of Starcraft: Ghost

That's 6 (maybe 7) games they're working on at once. I already foresee some part of the Starcraft endeavor being cut. Again. I swear if they do, I'm going to be pissed. I'm a big Starcraft fan and hearing that Ghost was indefinitely postponed was pretty harsh. I've still got hope it'll come out eventually, as there was no official cancellation, but I can't see it being soon.

Opinions?

Ghost would of been something far more interesting then WoW IMHO. Problem was the developer who was working with blizzard thought it wasn't worth finishing.

Yeah, something about not being able to execute it on the level they wanted to. I'm still holding tight that someone will pick it up and I definitely would place it over anything involving Warcraft high on my wish list at this point.

Yeah, the bastards. We should hunt down a few lead designers there and shove their beards down their gullets. Because they're not as good as John's. And because they farted. Wait, would that break a law?

I'm sure it's classified as assault.
