Now I just remembered a shooting game that looks like the main window of Scarab or Ra... Only you shot realy scary smileyfaces or something... and could go into toilets (and often find ammo there) open doors and such... the movements were pretty fluid for such an old game.
Name has been forgotten.

Rick Dangerous - side-scrolling heaven. My sister's favourite.
Monkey Island (The Curse Of?) - I forget which exact name it was, but it was the original. Great adventure action, as many probably (and should) know. I would love to play it again. Anyone have any help?
Curse Of Enchantia - Game much like Monkey Island, same point-and-click action, same puzzle-based adventure mayhem. Very surreal game. It felt like another world, which reminds me...
Another World (Out Of This World in the US) - The game was switched to "Out Of This World" in the US because there was a popular soap opera on at the time called "Another World". Funnily enough, when the game actually did get released in the US, a sci-fi sitcom named "Out Of This World" began screening. This was a game we (me and my brothers and sister) didn't have ourselves. My cousins had it with their computer (DOS?) and I played it vigourously on my frequent visits to their house as a child. This game was brilliant. I still remembered it fondly up until last year, when I stumbled across the ROM for GBA, which the game had just been ported to. Others should get a GBA emulator (Visualboy Advance is the best) and the Another World ROM, because it remains one of my favourite games ever. www.emultra.com is the best site for emulation. It's completely free and easy-to-use. Anyway, if you've never played this game, shame on you. This game seems a lot like Lugaru, in a way. Programmed, designed, scripted, drawn all by one man, Eric Chahi. The only thing he received help on for the game was the music. Does this remind you of anyone?
Alien Breed - Fast-paced slaughter of never-ending hordes of aliens that come from all directions while traversing through an infested spaceship, receiving the only help you get from an on-ship computer which you purchase guns, ammunition, lives etc. from. Absolutely classic action game. Somebody re-did it for the PC. You can probably find it somewhere by searching on Google or whatever. I advise it. I downloaded it towards the end of 2005, and I must have replayed it at least 15 times since.
Bomberman - This should be pretty self-explanatory. Four players started at the four corners of a square, and began to explode blocks by planting bombs beside them, advancing towards their opponents. I remember this one quite fondly. How could I forget those days of me, my two brothers and my sister all huddled around the keyboard trying to press our seperate keys which controlled whichever Bomberman we were? Those were the days.
Zool - Action game. Don't remember too much about it. I just remember it was incredibily annoying to turn on, because it had some piece of apparatus that came in the box, which you would have to use to ascertain which one of the many passwords supplied for the game on this little slide-disc abomination was the one to use THIS time ("But I thought it was R569 last time!?" "Yeah, it was, but <i>THIS</i> time it's B2K5." "Oh."). It's incredibly hard to explain. Confused? I was. I still am. Great fun was had when I actually got the thing on, though.
Mortal Kombat - My, oh my. What were my parents thinking, letting me play this at five or six years of age? I always went Scorpion, simply for the love of hearing him recite "GET OVER HERE!" as he shot his scorpion spear from his wrist and pulled the opponent towards him. I think you pressed back arrow and punch. I usually remember following this up with an uppercut. I always had trouble getting the finishers/fatalities to work. I remember Scorpion's was where he took off his mask, revealing his scorpion skull and blew fire at the opponent, though. This game was also great fun back in the day. It's the only game I actually remember my brother buying (I was outside in the car as he went into the shop).
Prince Of Persia receives a special mention as it was all the rage with my cousins and brothers at the time. We didn't have it in our house, our cousins did. Whenever I went to their house, though, I played Another World. It's a far better game.
That's all I can really remember. I've spent enough time reminiscing on the past, anyway. Thank you for joining me on this journey of self-discovery. Hahaha.

OMG this brings back so many memories! Chex quest was one of the first games i ever played along with chips challenge! I'm gonna try and find them right now! And i sstarted consoles with a SNES and Zelda: Link to the past. I've got an original of that for the SNES and the one they made for the GBA...good times...good times.....
The first game I ever played was the original sonic the hedgehog game. I had alot of fun, and that memory will stay with me forever. But the rest of my family deny ever owning that game.
After that I sort of left games alone for a while, then my brother got doom. So I tried it out but I was 3 so I was too scared to beat the first level.
From then on, games were my life. it's only recently that I've been into shareware and free games.
