Secret Pre-order forum

Post by Magic Molly » Fri Oct 09, 2009 11:24 pm

Just wondering, what does one have to do to gain access to that forum? Pre order the game? Have 1337 haxor skillz? (I think it's the former, but as i don't have the personal funds to do so, i just wanted to know if there was another way to get in)

Yep, you have to pre-order the game.

About 5 pixels under the link to the Secret Preorder Forum you will see some words. Those words say, "A secret forum for people who preorder Overgrowth". But evidently that wasn't simple enough.

An alternative description would be, "the only place on these forums where any interesting discussion takes place." But I digress.

Also, hello and welcome to the forums. Don't worry, most of the inhabitants are significantly more friendly then myself.

It's true what they say - we do indeed have at least 1337 haxor skills each (I myself have 1338 but - you know - I don't like to boast). You'd better watch yourself :P

Truth be told, you actually have to touch John's beard to get into the SPF.

Some of us spent our life savings on a one way trip to California, but it was well worth it.

And now we are all stuck in California... and homeless.

I'm not homeless.

I live in John's Beard.

That's the real reason for my adopted name.

Ahh... the miracles of the SPF. We had to go past many obstacles to get ourself in there, but it was totally worth it.
It makes one wonder what is required to get into Overt Ops...

A loud siren and flashy lights. And being bi-lingual. But mostly just the siren and lights.

Quite so.
Myself, though, am almost ashamed to announce my deficiencies on the subject, seeing that I have only 1335 haxor skillz of my own. Luckily good ol' Wilbefast here and Zhukov lent me a hand and I was able to reach the mysterious lands of the SPF myself as well.
Thanks again for that, guys!

I myself only had 1336, before I borrowed one off my bro. He's awesome like that.

Lol - "borrowed" = "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine"

Ah! Brothers.

Indeed, I'm bilingual but my lack of siren and lights means that I can't get into the overt ops :(
