Swanky mouse.

Thinking about getting Windows 7 to run on my Mac so I can play more games. Main ones I want to play are a few years old: Rome Total War, Dawn of War

If anyone wants to warn me away from this, would appreciate it :)

Cool mouse!

I recommend playing demos before purchasing games, it's a good way to see what the game's like.

Logitech G9. Easily the best mouse I've ever used for gaming. It even has a customizable weight tray so that you can weight the mouse to the left or right for the perfect fit. :D

I've got the Dell 0X7636 M-UK DEL3 with nubbed scroll wheel and loud clicking noise.

Logitech G15 v2. It is one beast of a keyboard. 6 macro keys with the ability to record macros without leaving the program (it's all built in), an LCD screen that can load custom applications to interact with programs you're running (system monitor too), a windows key lock so you don't accidentally minimize your game, and orange backlit silent keys. Truly awesome.

Am I the only person who hates using mice for gaming? I'm a big fan of the logitech trackman wheel... but I use that for everything else I do too...

I can certainly see the benefits of using a trackball for gaming, but the mouse for me gives me more of a solid feel to the control of the computer.

Of course, I'm sure it's better if you've used them more.

I got an attack 3 when they first came out, but since I was very young in the gameplaying business I hated it. The fact that I was trying to play Halo with it probably helped fuel that dislike, but I've only recently gotten into flight simulators... And I gave it to a friend before that.
