batman

If the Tasmanian devil and batman were interspersed in a fight who would win? Tasmanian devil can spin and stuff but batman could just blow him up right? I don't want a one word answer, I need an explanation also!

You'd have to read about it yourself:

I understand it goes something like this:

Batman and Plastic Man save Green Lantern from falling to his death. The giant toy soldier they are fighting is too much for them, until Bugs Bunny convinces Taz that it will make an enjoyable meal!

Okay, from footage of the Tasmanian Devil, I judged his turning speed to be at a rate of 92 rpm or one rotation every 0.652173913 seconds.

The Tasmanian Devil is approximately half the size of a normal human. The average height of an Australian male is 1.748 m or 174.8 cm. Thus, a reasonable assumption for his height would be in the vicinity of 87.4cm. As shown in Figure A, TD's arms are about 3/4 the length of his body, putting them at a solid 65.55 cm.

Figure A

Now, if you take note that he had his arms outstretched when spinning, and the fact that he is making a complete rotation every .65 seconds, it is possible to derive the speed of either given hand during the spin. Using the Circumference formula, we find that his hand, when outstretched moves 411cm every rotation (Figure B).

Figure B

Thus, every second, his hand must move 633 cm, resulting in the final speed of 6.33m/s or 14.1 mph.

So batman would be fine, as it is possible to survive pitches thrown by major league Baseball players at 95 mph, 6 times more than TD's speed. Batman would then only need to stay away from the gnashing teeth and get a good punch in to the face to be the victor.

Now tell me who would win between Nathan Drake, Lara Croft, and Indiana Jones.
