The further away from the origin you are, the more valid your points will be.
YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH MY MASTERY OF STATISTICAL ANALYSIS.

Wow! That's Graphtastic, Fournine! Your Statistical Analysis is Strong, Luke!
But wait: you get your dot farther from the origin by either days on the forum or quantity of posts, or a combination of the two... so you could post an a$$load of drivel (if I can say that) over several months and look like you had really contributed. Doesn't that just encourage someone to not stop posting baloney, and to do it for freakin' ever?
Hope my addition to keeping this awesome thread on the top of the stack has been, uh, helpful.

Fear my mentally advanced and obviously logical posts and threads. The graph says it is so.

I like the graph. The graph is wondrous.
(And if you're looking for measures of validity, inaccurate. According to Fournine's graph and Blorx's reasoning, *I* would be posting more valid posts than Grayswandir, which is slightly off in my opinion.)

Look, Devilsclub, the only way for you not to shame yourself with every post you make is to STFU.

At least let me try, so let's point out some flaws in your analysis.
First, the scale of the axes is arbitrary. You should at least give a reason why one post is equal to one day on the forum. To clarify, why is one post not equal to one hour or one week or one month?
Second, you are oversimplifying. As kehaar already pointed out you could just churn out one word posts and climb really fast, without really contributing. So why is every post equal to every other post regardless of post length? I would propose to measure contribution not in post count but in sum of all posts length. That certainly would give a more differentiated picture.
In conclusion, your statistical analysis is shit.

There is no try, only do.

Just because a post is wordy does not make it a worthy contribution.
In conclusion, your statistical analysis is shit.
I believe Fournine killed all arguments against him by stating that his mastery is absolute.
Fournine wrote:YOU CANNOT ARGUE WITH MY MASTERY OF STATISTICAL ANALYSIS.
See? You quoted it yourself earlier, thus invalidating your argument.
In other words:
When someone is killed they will die. Pie is better.

Regardless of whether or not you knew Fournine was being ironic, that was dumb.

And again Renegade_Turner is assuming superiority.
Maybe you should try updating your drivers. I am sure that will solve your problem.
As for Fournine, if he is using pseudo science to make a pointless argument, I can at least demand he is using convincing pseudo science.
