Really? I'm pretty sure you only put "an" if the next word starts with a vowel. Maybe I'm wrong.Renegade_Turner wrote:It should be "an MUD".

Put up some combat ideas, along with a lot of other basic thoughts.
I also have a more complete backstory on the homepage.
Feedback is great.

Added a small FAQ. Needs more questions...
Also cleaned up the site a bit and I'm toying with the Wiki app.

Re: If I were to make a MUD...
It depends on how it's pronounced. I've always called them a "mud" (as in blood). But it could be pronounced as an MUD (em-yOO-dE). Wikipedia says it's the former, but honestly it doesn't really matter.Armored Wolf wrote:Really? I'm pretty sure you only put "an" if the next word starts with a vowel. Maybe I'm wrong.

Re: If I were to make a MUD...
I honestly have absolutely no idea how MUD even work. Especially with things like you are describing, so I'm not sure I'd be the best candidate.

Aye, understood TBC. I was just hoping there'd be someone. I might end up resorting to the MUDding community for feedback.

You are wrong. It's vowel sounds.Armored Wolf wrote:Really? I'm pretty sure you only put "an" if the next word starts with a vowel. Maybe I'm wrong.Renegade_Turner wrote:It should be "an MUD".

I decided I'm going to make it 2D instead. There a whole bunch of factors that have caused this.
Wish me luck!

That being said...I'm still doing a MUD to get some more C++ experience and learn server coding before I have to fret about art assets.
