I do have a usable mac, and I fully agree with your second statement.
Except for the 'sorry' bit. You can't apologise for something like iMovie any more than for Windows Movie Maker.

Crap > iMovie > Windows Movie Maker

Crap > iMovie > Windows Movie Maker> Terrible programs

Windows Movie Maker = Terrible Program

Windows Movie Maker isn't too bad. Not great, but nothing much better than iMovie in terms of general use. iMovie has more effects though.
