Keyboard sheet music website?

Post by cachiporrin » Sun Feb 28, 2010 8:45 pm

Hey guys.
Recently, Mikko Tarnia posted the music sheets for the overgrowth theme for the flute, piano and guitar.
I was wondering if any of you know about a website where I can download FREE sheets for the keyboard.
Things like....rock, classic music and that kind of stuff.
I was trying to find bands like nightwish or children of bodom.
If anyone knows about a website please tell me
thanks

After looking for a few minutes I found a page. It has some, not many, piano parts for a few Nighwish songs. Just make your browser do a page keyword-search for "Nightwish". They're in PDF form and you can do the right-click, save-as method to download 'em. http://www.noticky.net/uploads/

I'll let you know if I find anything else. BTW, I'm using the intitle method with google to find this stuff. Very bad.

Prelude 20 is kinda short, but not for people with short fingers :p

The keyboard Sheet music is essential as you will find it difficult to get whole books that have the musical notations in them for lengthy pieces. Books are expensive too and they are not easily found with the exact pieces that you want to learn to play. Music reading can also be done by beginners as it can help increase their recognition of the notes and their location on the keyboard. Sheet music will also help beginner players to understand the notes and the sound of the note. It's like having an imaginary piano playing in your head as you read the sheet.

Well, at least it was on topic. Anyway, yes, I had this problem when I had to do a piece of coursework during my GCSE Performing Arts course, I looked literally for hours, and couldn't find any sites which would let me download them for free...

Anyway, I gave up in the end and my music teacher found them for me, moral of the story, go to your local school, and molest the music teacher until he/she gives you the sheet music for free.

Failing that, just do what one of our ex-students did, hack into the school's funding and make them pay for it!

I kid, I kid, I would never encourage such behaviour.
