Okay, really guys, if an indie MMO company can make a Mac port, and Valve can release an OpenGL-native Mac port of the Source engine, why can't all these other companies do Mac ports?

I think it is not really that they can't. I guess they think it is not worth the investment.

That may be, but Icarus Studios and Valve seem to be taking big steps in the whole compatibility thing.
People like Eskil Steenberg have already proven what OpenGL is capable of and you can find comparison charts everywhere.
Hopefully, people will decide to start using OpenGL > DirectX soon for compatibility.

Mmmm more games....
Might have to upgrade to a desktop if any more awesome happens.
I hope the Global Agenda company gets with it too. That game looks hella fun.

Global Agenda LOOKS fun. It's really clunky though. =\

Lol, as does everyone. ^^
But yeah, there are much better Global Agenda alternatives. Global Agenda really isn't worth the monthly fee and if you don't pay monthly, it really just isn't worth playing. It's a standard shooter with "dungeons" and clunky gameplay that's supposed to be all Tribes-like and tactical, but ultimately fails and ends up being a huge clunky run-n-gun due to:
1. Delayed movement when climbing up from a ledge.
2. The fact that not only can you only have one item out at a time, all utilities, including the jetpack, as well as weapons are included in that. That means you either fly or shoot. No go on the both.
3. There are no headshots. In fact, there's no distinction at all. You hit it or you don't.

1: That I could see bothering people, is it on purpose or a mistake though?
2: The jetpack I have always considered a tool, not a weapon. If you could shoot with it on, there would be no people on the ground, except for when it drains out, then they're a sitting duck to those who are still in the air.
3: Who needs headshots when you can backstab.
Anyway, if you have alternatives, I'd love to hear them!

Well, LOVE has both Mac and Linux ports planned and has terraforming, parkour, all sorts of weapons, a beautiful, persistent world, a non-recurring subscription, etc.
Then there's always Shattered Horizon, which is crazy fun if you can look past its flaws.
There were a lot of others, but I can't remember cuz I'm so tired.

I have been aware of LOVE for a while, however I was unaware of the Mac port. I say +1 for them!
As for Shattered Horizon, it also looks beautiful, and I will look into it if I ever get a new desktop and some Windows OS disks.

Yeah, well I didn't specify for Mac since you did mention Global Agenda, which has about as good a chance of coming to Mac as Shattered Horizon does.
LOVE definitely deserves props, Linux too!
