There has been some macabre changes. It's nice that I've kind of kept the same K/D Ratio.

You've done quite well with Recon. I haven't but I've done a lot better with Medic and Engineer.

<3 engineer! Also I didn't use the medic because they're next to useless until the first unlock, and when I use assault I watch my kill death plummet. At the moment it's at .79ish or so. Scratch that, it's only ay about .72ish. Also I've played more games than the thing says I have, I just end up lagging out of them around the last five minutes.

I level up all my things equally so that I can use particular kits in particular situations.
Medic once you get the defrib's and the red dot sight for your LMG is really useful, especially when working as a team, because you hang back and provide cover while an Assault or Engineer takes the brunt of the attack and tries to do the damage. If your team-mates fall you just jack them back up or throw out a few medkits if they're injured.
However, if I see a tank patrolling and no one seems to be up to taking it out, I switch over to Recon and try to flank it. Lightweight Body Armor is useful for this because when planting C4 on a tank, speed and agility is all-important. So Lightweight as your first Specialisation on Recon, use buildings for cover, if you see the tank rounding a corner and shooting somewhere else this is the perfect opportunity to make your move, and two C4 on the side or back will detonate, be careful though because tanks often have infantry cover, you must be quick. I've often gotten the C4 planted successfully but then got taken out and the C4 disappears. For this reason I often sacrifice myself and detonate the 2 C4 the instant I attach them. I usually kill myself but always get at least one kill, often two, sometimes 3, and a hell of a lot of points in the process. I often rack up 400 points for one tank kill. 50 for each kill, another 50 if it's an avenger kill or savior kill, 100 for tank destruction, etc.
However, if the tank is too far away and is in a position which is difficult to flank as a Recon unit for various reasons, be it lack of cover or too much infantry support, I often opt for the engineer route and just take cover far away and bombard the tank with RPG's, aiming for the side armour if possible.
Assault is good if it's the type of game where not many people are bothering to use the vehicles. I prefer the other 3 classes, there's nothing Assault can do which other classes can't achieve with more success, especially once you unlock the AKS-74U for the engineer. It's better than any of the Assault Rifles I've unlocked as an Assault troop.
Also, I find it odd that a rocket propelled grenade will blow up walls, an assault rifle's grenade launcher will blow up walls, but a normal thrown grenade won't blow up anything but light fences. It's a bit strange. It would really help for the Medic if I had something to blow up walls with.

You could probably knife the wall down, given enough time.

Me and Grayswandir were playing one day and I walked into a building where there was a guy crouched in the corner knifing the wall. Becoming slightly bemused and a tad scared, I asked Gray "Ben, why is this guy knifing the wall?". He replied "Oh, he's probably trying to chop it down". I was like "Riiiight..."

I would like to see the day when that happens.
But on a serious note, knifing down doors into shrapnels does not make that much sense to me.

One is less likely to bring the entire place down with a knife, then with C4.

From what I remember, its a throwback to Bad Company 1, where they specifically state that opening doors the regular way is stupid.
Oh, and on the note of a knife destroying a building...
It seems to be a certain building and is most likely a glitch, there's a few videos of people doing it. I haven't tried it yet.

Would be sad to see that being used in a game, it nullifies the challenge of setting a charge and fight your way trough the opponents defences.
Even though, that perticular building is easily blown away with a tank + mortal strike.

lol. I was curious about this yesterday, and was skeptical that it would actually still work. So, I attempted it by slashing the two fences while my team-mates were still inside the house. They both died, giving me two -15 point teamkills. Then I got them shouting over the mic "What the hell just happened?" I said "Oops..."

Sounds like a magnificent experience.
I see it has shaken you so that your usual bold voice has turned quite meek.

Yeah, "Oops..." doesn't sound very Bold and Purple to me neither.
On a second note, a hysterical laughter and a straight up spanking of how stupid they were for standing inside would have been appropriate.
I'm just kidding, no hard feelings.
But yeah, I tried that aswell.
And it kind of ended up as it did with you, except for the "oops" part...
I was too busy laughing my ass off at their misery.

To clarify, when I posted that Ren's post was lacking boldness. Either that or the computer I was on at the time was using a font that didn't have a bold state or something.
Now that I'm back on my regular machine, I suspect the latter.
