I'm considering it, but it'll have to wait until I can get all these bills paid off.

I played it... and got dead bored...

I don't know...To me at least, Rockstar's games have never really drawn me in... I remember San Andreas disgusted me (killing prostitutes with giant didlos... really?), and then GTA4 was just boring (too many lame side quests). RDR, as proven to my through a few hours of playing, seems like more of the same... I'm waiting out for more good sandbox games like prototype...

Flame at will.

Apparently the multiplayer is pretty iffy.

There is no 'enforced' co-op mode. Players can kill each other at any time. Therefore, online gamers being what they are, 9/10 servers just end up as oversized PvP arenas with rampant spawn killing.

However, I hasten to add that that is just what I've heard. I haven't actually played the game. So take it with a grain of salt.

That's just your choice of playing... (You could have used a chainsaw if preferred)

I haven't played the game personally, but from what I've heard it sound pretty fun.
I remember when the Multiplayer-Mod released for San Andreas, that was pretty neat.
As I have said before, nearly any game is enjoyable if played with people you like spending time with.

Funnily enough, I'm about to go upstairs, hook up my PS2 and play that for the first time in like...maybe 18 months!

Seriously though, anyone have Red Dead Redemption? It's actually so much fun. Just got it for the XBox 360. Ben you better buy it so we can do free roam multiplayer. Muahahahaha.

P.s. Hunting wolves and grizzly bears kicks ass.

I'm assuming that's because you have. you know, a group of people, armed with guns, shooting a bear.

I put all my aiming on Expert. No aiming assistance. It's so much funner. I hate that lock-on shit. It's gay and it's one thing I didn't like about GTA4. Any time I played multiplayer it was just lock-on. Kind of annoying. I hope there's a multiplayer setting where you can asked to only be paired with people with no lock-on.

you should suggest it. like a "hardcore" mode.

i'm sure there are plenty of people who feel the same way.

Actually no. Most of the animals get nerfed health wise in multiplayer, For example, in Single player it takes two or three pistol clips to kill a bear. In multiplayer it takes two or three shots. Plus hunting is easier once you find out throwing knives are pretty much a one hit kill on almost everything.

Everyone should have this game. I'm loading it up now. Especially fun if you're playing it with friends.

So I got to play Red Dead Redemption today (my friend bought it, I bought Blur  ). Its pretty fun actually. Dunno if I'd go out and buy it, but its amusing in its own right.
