A writing/art project
A writing/art project
I am starting an open universe project, writing, art, anything.
we have a group on deviantart
http://the-fiction-project.deviantart.com/
and a wikia website
http://tfproject.wikia.com/wiki/The_Fic ... oject_Wiki
We are devoted to the creation of fictional universes, we focus on a project and then move onto another project.

Re: A writing/art project
Sounds interesting, but what's the intent behind this? Are these a bunch of creative excercises or is this just for fun?
Also, for entry types that have a limited number (i.e species, planets), who decides what will be included? Is it-first-come-first-serve, or will there be arbitration by the project leader?

Re: A writing/art project
rules are either created by the project leader (as with the first project) or voted on (this is the project leaders choice, can also apply if there is no project leader)
there is also limitations on what rules can be set.
it is first come first serve, but you can work around the rules and propose a change in rules to the project leader.
for example right now during this first project we have two sentient species that dont apply to the limitations rule, sentient machines (oids) and a seemingly extinct species (which i beleive you created eruditemoose). Thats how you can work around the rules
The intent behind this is just to have fun, it isnt meant to be anything to serious and most certainly the intent is NOT to make money, it is supposed to be very public and open

Seemed appropriate.
Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled bullshit.

Give people some time, I'm sure your "gentle" reminder that you're looking for writers will bring people crawling back to this thread.
