I need some Art Work done (better yet a banner) for an upcoming blog that i am currently working on. I will put you in the copyright information (at the bottom of the page). - If your willing to help (for free) that would be nice. All i need is too see some examples of what you can do.

I just got done yelling at a guy on Dream.In.Code for expecting a logo for anything less than $100, but because you're part of the Wolfire community, if I can come up with anything, I'll try and help you out.

Even 100$ is low if he wanted to use it professionally. I mean, if the logo works and sticks to mind and people remember it, it's easily worth a couple of thousands in an initial investment.

I know, I was talking freelance work. Still, he expected me and the designer to work an entire site, including a "simple" logo for $10 just because other people offered him that price.

I proceeded to tell him that professional logos are upwards of $3000.

EDIT: I think my last response should shut him up. He went and pissed me off, so I proceeded to make a crappy site and have the sarcastic remark that if he wants a logo, he's still going to have to pay $100, per the graphics designer's wishes. Considering it was work-for-hire, I wasn't about to take my chances with making a bad logo, but apparently he didn't care.
