Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
So in a blitzkreig of development, Ubisoft has announced that they'll be releasing Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood on November 16th for PS3, 360 and PC.
Brotherhood has you playing as the protagonist from Assassin's Creed 2, Ezio Auditore da Firenze. However, instead of starting off as an unexperienced grunt, Ezio is now a master assassin leading a small brotherhood of followers to eradicate the Templars. It takes place in the early 16th century, once again in Italy, but in new locations than the last game.
New gameplay features so far include a different arsenal and storyline than the previous game (duh) but most importantly, a multiplayer mode!
Here's the (as usual, beautiful) E3 trailer, which takes place in Rome during 1503.
I find it quite neat, to say the least.
Here is a gameplay demo, much lengthier than the trailer.

Cba to double-check this, but isn't that only really a worry to PC owners?

Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
alright. JUST A MERE OBSERVATION
is it just me or is there SIGNIFICANTLY a lot less blood in that gameplay video than the previous 2 assassin's creed games?
and why does it seem the only kills he is making is a straight stab through the stomache?
i know its just a preview of the gameplay, but yeah jus sayin.

WANT!
Also UTD, they probably only made that much of the game for the gameplay release, so there won't be a lot of blood, or many assassinations, but after a bit more work, it should have more of each than both of the previous two games put together,or, at least, it damn well better...

I just hope they don't turn into assholes like Bungie and Epic games and make all of their achievments online...

How come I couldn't find a full version of Assassin's Creed 2 to pirate on Pirate Bay? I want to stick it to the man. Invertin or Freshbite or someone (you guys all blur together) promised me they had found a way around the DRM.

Yes, making their achievements online makes them assholes. Get a fucking job you slacker...I mean:zoidberg rules wrote:I just hope they don't turn into assholes like Bungie and Epic games and make all of their achievments online...
I'm going to guess a majority of them are going to be cooperative or "beat x level of the campaign" achievements, or those "found x number of flags" that the previous ones had. But one can hope that a almost all of them will be online only achievements.

nice
Re: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
The "Find X flags in Y" achievements were horrible. They were the only achievements I completely skipped in the first game.
Other than those, the achievements were pretty fun to collect.

Well, I don't know Wolfire's stance on it, but they've never really had issues with discussions of pirating. However, links to pirated software, I'm not entirely sure about. I don't recall anyone ever doing that.
On the bright side, I know they won't perma-ban you. They hate doing that...unless you're a spam bot.

Probably not perma-ban, at least.Blorx wrote:On the bright side, I know they won't perma-ban you. They hate doing that...unless you're a spam bot.
If you click on the little triangle that allows you to report a post, you get a form and few selections, including a list of reasons for why moderators should do something about the post. One of the reasons is: "This message contains links to illegal or pirated software."
If it's on the "moderators please do something" list, I'd guess it's not safe to post.
