i actually have a file for all my fav's...
here are a select few:
1:"The AI does not hate you, nor does it love you, but you are made out of atoms which it can use for something else."
—Eliezer Yudkowsky

2:"The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.", Alvin Toffler

3:"If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things.", Rene Descartes

most of my quotes are what i have used to justify my need for knowledge, which started with number three.

number two is what i use on people who do not wish to learn more and more as time goes by (how i wish i could live by just reading and learning things...).

number one always reminds me (and the robotics team) that you may have made a mistake, but it can be reused, even as an example. also, fear your robot overlords!

That quote was used in stargate universe in a fairly recent episode ... thought that might be your inspiration to post it ...

Caboose - Red vs Blue "I'm never gonna get married. My father always said: Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?"

I laughed so hard the first time I ever heard him say that line.
