Weirdo Christian Baptist Church Extremists Get Sued

Post by Renegade_Turner » Wed Oct 06, 2010 7:51 pm

God damn these fucking sickos, I wish they'd all fucking die.

For suck sake, this is enough to make me sick. Talk about giving Christians a bad name. There's always a minority. Why do the majority of these extremist Christians seem to come from America?

Anyway, how fucking twisted can you become? Any children that any of these people involved in these protests have should be taken from them and placed in foster homes, and they should all be locked up and declared mentally unfit for purpose. They're clearly broken people.

A family trying to bury a dead US soldier and these weirdos come around holding signs like "God Hates Fags". Fucking weirdos. One woman said "Nation, hear this little church. If you want to stop dying, stop sinning." I hope she fucking dies.

People eventually die in all cases, so your wish will certainly come true.

Hahaha, screw your witty lighthearted comments, this is serious business here.

I hope she dies...sooner.

I watched a ~40 minute long video on this freaks last year in school. They sicken me. Way worse than that idiot who tried to burn the Koran, even. The leader of that group, Fred Phelps, is extremely messed up for imposing this on his family (honestly, everybody in that church is related to him) and if there's a hell, he is certainly going to it. I'm no big supporter of war, but to mock soldiers and thank God for their deaths- to spit on the corpse of a person who died trying to protect the country you live in and, consequently, trying to protect you- is going way too far. They also believe that every American casualty in the war has occurred because God hates gays and the soldiers fight for the rights of everyone, including gay people, and because these lunatics feel like they've been persecuted. Somebody tried bombing their house twenty some years ago (somebody give that guy a medal) with some kind of ghetto bomb officially classified as an IED. IED is a very broad term, but they somehow feel that the fact that most military causalities in Iraq are from IED traps proves that God is executing retribution for them. Repeat, they enjoy seeing people come back in coffins, or in wheelchairs with their bodies mutilated, for protecting the same rights that allow these people to do this.

I feel terrible for the kids in that church, too. In that video I mentioned watching, they interviewed a couple to see if they knew why gay people were immoral. Responses were essentially something like this:

Q: So why are gay people bad?
A1: (some ~6 year old kid) Well gay people are faggots and faggots are beasts, it says in the Bible that they are beasts. Also, God hates gay people and we need to try and be like God and hate them too.
A2: (some ~8 year old kid) Gays are bad because they sleep together and they're not supposed to which makes them beasts, and God is going to punish them for being gay.
^Responsive question to this: How is God going to punish them?
A2 continued: Well he'll get one of his servants here on earth to kill them and then he's gonna punish them after they die by putting them in hell.

Disgusting. I am glad somebody did this.

Also, this.

LOL. That video is brilliant. The end is amazing.

"You're a fag ass pervert, step off."

"He's just so irresistible, that's the problem."

This guy is brilliant. He's got some balls on him. Glad someone did something like that. I've got some ideas which I've already relayed to a friend on Facebook and she seems to think they're quite apt:

1. Tie them to a wooden cross.
...2. Set fire to said wooden cross.
3. Watch them burn.
4. Check the obituaries during the next few days to find out the funeral date.
5. Stage inappropriate and highly disrespectful protest at said funeral.
6. LOL at the irony.

Dear God.

I can't understand why religious people can't just get the fuck over gay people. WHO CARES? I live in Utah, where people are seriously prejudice against gay people. It's just so pointless. I don't get why the fuck people can't just live their lives and allow people to live their lives as well? Instead, we have ignorant religious idiots spreading false propaganda about gays. These are the people that claim the only way to find happiness is to join their religion. The only way to be happy is to hate other people with different opinions, I guess.

Religious people just need to mind their own fucking business.

EDIT: Anyone else down to make a website called www.godloveswestborough.com? It would be a place where people can place donations to all the charities this church is against. And also make fun of them.

This is really just a select minority, though, R_T. There are plenty of atheists and agnostics who have "issues" with gay people, but the rate is naturally higher in religions where they teach homosexuality as being morally wrong- doesn't mean all religious people are like this, or even the majority.

Seriously though, it's asses like these that give religions a bad name.

I don't think that is correct. It's certainly not helping in giving Christianity a good name. But the common folk can differentiate between a small subset and the general movement.

Christianity gets a bad rap amongst US intellectuals nowadays because of its affinity to political power. It's a clear danger. As soon as religion interweaves with grand decisions, there's bound to be criticism because it isn't a good fit anymore. Hasn't really been since Kant, at the least.

In western / central Europe, Christianity is just fizzling out, so it's simply not considered a lifestyle anymore amongst the youth. There's not really a bad name attached to it anymore, these times are over.

The rest of the world is still deeply religious. To a fault, even.

Nice.

And the extra special part is how much influence these A--holes have here in the states.
And everywhere else in the world, for that matter.

But progress is slowly made in spite of all their efforts, so fuck 'em.

They're kind of like neo-nazis in that free speech works against them. Those Phelps people just look like pinheads every time they open their mouths. People mocking them enrages them and makes them look like the exaggerated meanies they are. I'd rather have that than what the Mormons did: spending millions in California-- where they have very little presence in the population-- to ban gay marriage. They put a tremendous effort into keeping it hidden up 'til the election.

This Election we're seeing the $$ ramp up severely on the right since the Supreme Court ruled that corporations can donate whatever they want annonymously. Most of the Tea Party funding comes from oil money, but they're trying to foist off that it started as a "grass roots" movement.

Really not true. Plenty of people with a strong Catholic faith around where I live. Even plenty of young people.

Of course it depends on where you're actually at. There's still religious (epi)centers, like Cologne, Kraków or Dublin. The general trend is downwards though.

Here's some stats: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religion_i ... eligiosity

Edit: Some lookup material: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Importance ... by_country
Sort that table by "No, unimportant" and look at the amount of EU countries at the top. Then make your own conclusions.

It seems to me that these "anti-gays" are just little scared fools with their fingers up their asses. When it comes down to it, homosexual individuals are doing us a favor by not reproducing like jackrabbits and overpopulating the entire fucking planet.

I simply don't understand this hate period ... I mean ... I live in nebraska and I've never heard someone have a seriously anti-gay opinion or racist ...

Stereotypically, we should be swarming with these assholes ... but i never met one ...

Where the hell are they hiding? Why cant they distinguish themselves so I can egg their house for being douche-bags?

Not really :/ ...

(also im kinda impressed by the religious tolerance this forum has by not lumping these assholes in with the general religious population ... I have been involved in very very lengthy arguements about religion because people cant distinguish this.)
