This is a video my sister made. It covers the basics concerning CASTOR transports in Germany.

This is a multilingual effort. German French
I've helped her here and there, and provided the english translation.
Thanks for checking it out. My sis busted her ass for this!

Extremely informative and rather amusing in places too! I liked it, can I just ask though, are you and your sister for or against nuclear power stations? Just out of interest.

Re: When the CASTOR rolls
I myself have no real opinion about them as a power source. It's of course important to assure that there's no core breach, so Chernobyl should remind people that there's an inherent danger in the technology. But apart from that, I just want those guys to deal with the waste in a proper manner. Intoxication of the environment is something I cannot tolerate under any circumstances, in particular if it's about radioactive waste.
My sister thanks you guys for the compliments and stuff! She's glad you liked it.
She says basically the same thing concerning the waste as I do, but wants to emphasize that it's important to explore the possibilities of alternative energy sources. That's pretty much her opinion.
Concerning alternative energy sources, I want to have tidal power plants realized; I think that's not been explored fully. I'm sure there's a lot in there, but we can't really transform the energy properly as of yet.
My sister wants to add that the fact that there's an inherent dependency in the power cycle forcing customers to accept whatever energy source is currently being used is a problem; this is partly an economical issue though, and it leads back to principal structures in a free-market economy, and the importance of affordability for the masses. But this obviously extends to a lot of topics.

Re: When the CASTOR rolls
Yeah, that's pretty much my opinion, especially with the whole disposal of the waste/runoff, I'm starting to think more and more that it is very important to explore alternative energy sources soon, mainly since our fossil fuels can't last forever.
I think that, even if only in small places dotted around the coutries, wave and tidal power are starting to look like the most viable renewable energy sources, still, we'll have to wait and see won't we?
Anyway, I'm off to go join back into a less intillectual debate, what's happening at the moment in the randomness thread I wonder?
