The occasional verbal tomfoolery usually appends an unexpected amusing factor.

I do know that. Im just naming the home place of where it could have come from

I had never heard of "codswallop" before. Hell, it's not even in Google Chrome's English word list.
I'm not sure if it's even something that would be used anywhere but the UK or Ireland...I'm pretty sure it's an actual word though...Google is silly.

Google isn't always all-knowing.
I've sometimes made up words that fit into the occasion, which seem more appropriate than anything Google could suggest.

"Codswallop" is a word. It means nonsense.
I remember hearing people use it when I was a kid.
Also, my web browser's spellchecker didn't put a red line under it when I typed this post. That makes it official.

I second that one, if the browser says its real, it must be!

Yeah I know, but that's weird, because for me, "codswallop" is red-underlined, with suggestions such as "cods wallop" or "cods-wallop". Oh, Chrome, why are you so different?

Sounds like there's a possibility that you come from Germany... or possibly Berlin.

Thread revival!
I'm Jackson. Jack isn't a nickname or anything, I just thought it would kinda...you know...
flow better...
Well that isn't that exciting, it's a fairly boring English name, comes from the painter Jackson Pollock (both my parents are artists). But my middle name is Guy!

Now that is an epic middle name right? It's the name of my Sicilian grandfather, and who knows how
that happened, Guy being a popular Norman name in the middle ages.

"Jack" is overused
"Jackson" sounds like a good name for a hero in an action movie
Like a rebel cop with nothing left to loose ... I can just see the chief of police now screaming at him in his office

Really? Never thought about that... well why not.
NO!
Are you ready for this?

"Guy Jackson"
Eh, eh?
