Anyone here play Airsoft?

I recently got into it, and, with the help of my cousin, have started planning an event this summer using a gametype I created. It's a survival type game, and should be very fun to play, however it requires a large private property to play on. Since I live in a city, I'm doing this at my uncles' house.

APOCALYPTIA
WARNING: To get the best experience, roleplay as much as possible. Really believe the character that you have chosen to be, whether it's a grizzled merc, or an eccentric trader, just try and fall into your persona as much as you can.
Name: Apocalyptia
Gametype: Survival
Number of Players: 5-50
Play Area: Large, but clear where boundaries are.
Gametime: At least 20hrs
Description: All players begin the game with no food or weapons. They must choose a name for themselves, and either print it on a dogtag, or wear it on a nametag. They are each given a map with the location of one stash of either food or weapon(s), and one printed copy of the rules. Each player has a different location marked on his/her map. The goal of this game is to survive. The game will go on for at least 20 hours. At ANY time, a player can choose to forfeit and go back to the starting location to receive food and water, however they will be kicked from the game. We don’t want to kill anyone here.
A safe zone will be set up at a building or large tent, where players can trade, rest, talk, ect (Refer to “Safe Zone” for more information ). Death is tallied by the Shopkeeper(Refer to “Shopkeeper” for more information), and the person with the least deaths at the end of the game wins. Refer to “Hits & Death” for more information.
Safe Zone: A large building, tent, or similar structure somewhere in the play area. The more players in the game, the larger the Safe Zone has to be. No weapons can be drawn at a certain distance from the Safe Zone, and the safety on the weapons must be on at all times when inside. If desired, you can allow players to try and assault the Safe Zone, but I do not recommend it (See “Assaulting the Safe Zone” for more information). The Shopkeeper is in the safe zone, and can provide you with a variety of services (Refer to “Shopkeeper” for more information). If power is available, you may want to set up a dvd player and television, so that the Shopkeeper and resting players can have entertainment.
Assaulting the Safe Zone: If desired, you can allow players to draw weapons in and around the safe zone, however by doing this they are breaking the unwritten contract, and other players have permission to open fire on the offending player. After the offending player is dead, his loot can be divided up any way you want. Hell, you could even do an old west style quick draw.
Death and Looting in the Safe Zone: When a player dies in the safe zone, he/she must wait fifteen minutes before going back into the field (Modify to suit your game. Generally, the more players, the longer the re-spawn time). Looting rules still apply.
Shopkeeper: The Shopkeeper is in charge of a shop at the safe zone, and can pay people to do tasks for him , such as gathering supplies, guarding the Safe Zone (Refer to “Safe Zone” for more information), ect. He starts with a certain amount of supplies, and they are priced similarly to their real life prices (Refer to “Currency” for more information). He will also keep track of the deaths of each player (Refer to “Hits & Death” for more information). The Shopkeeper is not allowed to leave the Safe Zone unless he hands off his duties to someone else. The Shopkeeper can trade with any player. If electrical power is available, he can also charge money for things such as charging AEGs or media players.
If desired, you can allow the players to reserve their personal guns and supplies with the Shopkeeper before the game starts, to be purchased back later in the play session. These weapons and supplies have a special tag on them, indicating that they cannot be looted from the player (Refer to “Looting” for more information).
Currency: The currency can be anything you wish, however I find that Monopoly money works the best. It is cheap, easily carried, and representative of real currency. The money should be worth something similar to how much the real currency in the country is worth. This money can be used to buy items from other players and the Shopkeeper.
Assassination: All players have the ability to perform an assassination, which grants an instant kill, if they sneak behind an enemy player. To perform an assassination, the assassin must be behind an enemy player and have both hands free. The assassin must then tap on the back of the enemy players' head with his fist, which signifies to the enemy that he has been killed. Normal death and looting rules apply (See “Hits and Death” and “Looting” for more information).
Hits and Death: When a hit occurs, the player who has been hit must scream in mock agony and/or yell “I'm hit!”. They must also yell the location they were hit, eg. “Ahh! My leg!”, or “Shit! My arm”. If hit in the head, they cannot make any noise to indicate they have been hit.
If hit in the leg, the player is incapacitated and cannot move, however can still use weapons. If hit in the chest or head, they are “dead”, and cannot move until the killer is done looting (Refer to “Looting” for more information) and has left the area. If hit in the arm, that arm cannot be used until repaired by the Shopkeeper, who acts as the medic. He can repair any limb damage.
When assassinated, players cannot make any noise to indicate that they have been hit.
When dead, the player cannot make any verbal noise or hand signals to indicate what has happened to any accomplices. After they have either been looted, or the killer is dead, the dead player must tie the supplied white ribbon around his head and go directly back to the Safe Zone, where the Shopkeeper restores him and marks down his death. After being restored, the player cannot leave the safe zone for ten minutes (Modify to suit your game. Generally, the more players, the longer the re-spawn time).
Looting: When a player kills another player, they are free to loot the “corpse”. They can take ONLY the items that are found during the course of the game. The killer is not allowed to take anything that the dead player owns, like his holster or magazine pouch.
Special reserved guns cannot be looted from dead players. These count as items that the dead player owns, and most players probably do not want their guns used by someone else.
If a player that is in the process of looting is killed, the killer can loot both bodies.
Required Game Supplies:
At least one cheap, disposable airsoft gun (Spring pistols work well) for each player, to be scattered around the play area
Some form of currency
Nametags
A large amount of food, such as beef jerky and protein bars.
Fresh bottled water – a lot of it.
One white or brightly colored ribbon for each player.
A large gazebo tent, with walls, if a building is not available to be used as the Safe Zone
A large amount of 0.12g BB's to be sold by the Shopkeeper and placed in baggies in the stashes.
A clock, to time re-spawns
Optional Game Supplies:
More guns, possibly AEGs
A television for entertainment at the Safe Zone
Required Player Supplies:
Airsoft goggles or mask
Backpack or pouch for storing food
A refillable water bottle or backpack hydration system
A flashlight
Boots or good shoes
Warm Clothing
Optional Player Supplies:
Holster
Personal guns to be used later in the game
Magazine pouch
Tactical vest
Camouflage
Gloves (While not required, these are recommended)
Speed loader
0.2g BB's to be used with Gas Airsoft guns or AEGs
Green gas, C02 tanks, or propane to be used with personal guns
Dogtag to print your name on
End Notes:
The point of this gametype is to simulate a real survival situation, and since hunger is actually a part of this due to the length of the game, I think the results will be quite interesting. Allegiances will form between players, the shopkeeper will hire mercs, and a small economy will begin to be established.
The possibilities are almost endless, as they would be in this type of situation.
I hope you have as much fun playing this as I did creating it.
