Headdesk might apply to the back of the head, which would just look silly.
Facedesk can only be done while breaking your nose.

No...headdesk is what's happening in the picture you just posted. It's the same thing...but I'm fairly certain headdesk is what it was originally called.

As much as it is a Headdesk, it is indeed also a Facedesk.
The reason I prefer it is that it implies that you actually, well, use your face.

No, dont take it into the PM's because freshbite is right.
The hunter realized he was fucked because he knew as soon as he moves that velocichicken was going to bite his head off. He also knew that standing still wouldn't save him either
So he says "clever girl", then attempts to kill it by suddenly turning around to shoot it, but it was faster than him ... it had the upper hand.

It could be that headdesk imply that your head has to touch the desk and not necessarily the face.
where as facedesk implies face contact only

But who would use their face? That'd just be dumb. You use your forehead, surely. Cracking my nose off a desk would hurt like fuck. The joke wouldn't even be on the other guy anymore, the joke would be on me for being stupid enough to break my nose and teeth off a desk.
