Just a quick grey screen and then nothing. (It closes)

Hey guys, some people are wondering how to alter the strength of the hits. To do this you need to go into the "aschar.as" scripting file and proceed to the WasHit() function. I believe you can alter the variable called "force" to change the force of the attacks on the ragdolls.

David gave me pastebin demonstrating the code changes here: http://pastebin.com/DvmCXjfb

Wouldn't this affect the strength of both the rabbot (player) and opponent (NPC)?

The wolf model has been in one of the /Data/ subfolders for quite a long time, so it isn't exactly new. It was shown in the motion capture demonstrations too. That means a cat model might already exist! If they do exist, they probably won't be bundled with the main alpha, but will be put into the extra data files. Has anyone downloaded those recently and had a look around?
I apologise for my ignorance, I haven't been on these forums for long and due to the lack of a linux build as of yet, haven't downloaded anything. It would certainly be exciting if there was a cat model already. And, from what you have told me, it would certainly be plausible that one does exist. Thank you very much for this information, I have found it most helpful!

Trying to play with rabbot but the alpha crashes each time. Doesn't seem to matter which map i try to play either! Any suggestions?

A more detailed report would be a good start. What's your operating system, did you get any errors, does it work if you don't enter the rabbot mode?

And most importantly, do previous alphas work?

That means it would be a problem with the new char models if they did.

When you group objects together are they meant to become non-solid?
When I group objects they have to be ungrouped before being used in a level, which is a pain if you want to test a set of objects out then go back into editor mode and move them again as a group.
