Windows 7, I've tried past alphas and different mirrors too and still nothing works. Sad facial expression

Framerate is irregular.
Is that normal?
It'll be 200+ FPS but if something goes to ragdoll, it shoots down to 20 FPS or lower.

it can be, the game rely heavily on the GPU, so if you have a good graphics card you'll get less lag with ragdolls, you can enable vsync in the config.txt file to make it more stable (it'll cap the fps at 60) which is helpful in any computer so I'd recommend you do.

The config.txt file can be found in the overgrowth installation folder, you can also just search your computer for config.txt and then find the right one.

Thanks, I plan on eventually getting a better Graphics Card. (I've got a Nvidia Geforce 7950. About five years old)
I find it hard to believe that V-sync will make it better, but I'll give it a whirl.

E: Well hell, it worked.
I get a pretty steady 30 FPS now. (With the occasional dips)

Only bug I've encountered is with the sky editor, on some maps, if you move the sun or change it in anyway some sides of the skybox will become black making everything messed up, the only other thing I encountered with that editor is on the Patchy hills map ( is it the right name?). When I moved the sun my fps would drop to something like 4 until I stopped moving/changing it. :?

Don't think so, it's the only map where it happened. Not sure if it still does that though :P. And sorry the name is actually Patchy highlands. Can't fix the black skybox though, re-rendering shadows doesn't change a thing.

Holding Z and pressing shift causes the ragdoll to fly into the air in a crazed spaz attack.

I felt bad starting a whole new thread about this, and this is most likely entirely my fault due to my lack of knowledge, but I seem to be entirely unable to interact with NPCs and large objects after they are spawned. I try clicking on the cube/object/etc I just spawned but nothing happens. I know this has to be my fault somewhere but I just can't see it. If someone could enlighten me I would be incredibly grateful.

You need to double click on objects to select them. NPCs can be a little tricky to select at times, so it's easiest to drag a box around them by holding left+right click then drag.
