MAC LOAD PROBLEM! PLEASE HELP!!!

Every time i load up a map or level, it spazzes out.
The screen loads up with half a piece of land, the music is REALLY choppy, the camera doesnt even show the character. I really don't like that my stuff wont even load after looking forward to this game for SO long now. I feel sad.
Well, i run a mac laptop Version 10.5.8
2 GHz Intel Core duo processor
I AM GETTING MORE DEPRESSED AS I THINK OF HOW MUCH I LOOKED FORWARD TO THIS TO FIND IT WAS A DISAPOINTMENT.
I hoped you guys saw this. I cant play ANYTHING on here because of my system.

Seeing how overgrowth is pretty heavy try quitting any othe apps running in the background.
If that doesn't work try redownloading. Something might have gotten corrupted.
If THAT doesn't work, maybe your computer just can't handle the game. It's not optimized right do some computers might have issues.

My Mac runs it better than fine.
Or maybe it's just some startup lag. Wait a bit and see if it gets better.

There are some compatibility issues with 10.5 still... they might not be updated until the team starts optimizing the game, unfortunately. Also, you should check what video card you are using. If your graphics card is an Intel graphics card, that would also be causing issues, and won't be resolved until the game is further along in development.

Unfortunately it's not possible to upgrade a laptop video card :/
