What do you want to be implemented in the next build?
Re: What do you want to be implemented in the next build?
If any of you are familiar with SOS (One of David's earlier games). It would be awesome if they were to add the ability to swipe at a animal's leg enough times to break his leg, ankle, knee and have him limp around. You would also be able to break his arms, when you get to the point where he is fully on the ground, unable to move, you take out your weapon and stab him if unarmed just step on his head or something (Kind of like Lugaru).
Oh yeah, Squirrels.
P.S. I do not want the enemies to crawl creepily towards me like they did in SOS, thank you for those beautiful nightmares, David.

maybe so that the AI cannot spot you when you are sneaking up to them

AI don't see you coming from behind, he is hearing you. You can see the explanation for it from this alpha video/ blog post. There are some changes made overtime to the field of view checking system, but the AI still can't see you when you are sneaking up from behind, he is hearing your footsteps.Taylanx wrote:maybe so that the AI cannot spot you when you are sneaking up to them

that would be fun, and gruesome, maybe like if, while they are down, grab their arm or leg, whatever limb you want to break, and break it. kinda like a finsher that doesnt finish.Cammeh wrote:If any of you are familiar with SOS (One of David's earlier games). I noticed swimming DNE and a separate of game from editor would be priority one. No?
Re: What do you want to be implemented in the next build?
There's nothing wrong with the editor. There's no water, so there's no swimming. What is DNE?

Oh and rolling all the way down hills.

I always thought DNE means Do Not Erase.
What?
Seriously, I have no idea what you mean.
How would that improve anything?Hera wrote:a separate of game from editor would be priority one. No?

Imagine a hill. Imagine doing a roll. Imagine the roll not stopping after a set period of time, but instead lasting all the way down the hill.EPR89 wrote:...spencman35 wrote:Oh and rolling all the way down hills.

Gameplay will probably be seperated from the editor later on once they've actually got some of the campaign done.
At the moment, it makes a lot of sense for the editor to be available immediately as a menu since the game in it's current state relies entirely on modding.

Again, not seeing the use of that. There's a difference between rolling and bailing. One is achieved with the roll in this game, the other one with the active ragdoll.

Fun? Also who said that there shouldn't be a way to stop it?EPR89 wrote:With no way of stopping it?Roter_Fuchs wrote:Imagine a hill. Imagine doing a roll. Imagine the roll not stopping after a set period of time, but instead lasting all the way down the hill.

You can currently hold down 'z' it will keep you in active ragdoll, and you can keep rolling until you die from too much damage. But it's fun.Roter_Fuchs wrote:Fun?
