Wow...

Read the first post. The troubleshooting section. It's there for a reason, you know.
And, since this is probably what you are doing right now, do not use the key you got from Steam. You need to use your SPF key. It says this everywhere. How do people keep missing this?
Why the fuck do people even assume that something posted on the SPF uses the key they get from Steam?

The same question has been asked three posts above yours. In fact, it has probably been asked for the last ten or so pages. How the hell did you miss that?
Are all the people coming from Steam illiterate?
This is so goddamn annoying.

Hi, just reporting a potential issue people may (or may not) encounter.

SUMLauncher for Windows can give an error which states "Can't get input stream from URL!".

This is due to Java interacting badly with Windows usernames which have exclamation marks in them (eg: Peter!).
Even by renaming the user account (eg: Peter), the issue will continue.

The current work-around is to create a completely fresh user account with no special characters and use that instead. I encountered this error with Minecraft and it plagues me to this day, and I'll never let someone else set up a computer for me again. -.-

Can you edit in links to the videos on YouTube directly in the main post? I can't view them because I don't have flash.

I'm using SUMLancuher on Linux and, after it tells me to point to the Overgrowth executable (Alpha 208, 11/25/2014), SUMLancuher tells me that there is a newer version (Alpha 208, 11/26/2014). When I try to update it, 159.69 MB of files is downloaded but nothing is updated. When I start SUMLauncher again, the update message is still there, saying to me that I have this one-day outdated version.

I have a problem, I'm on Mac, and I've downloaded it, but if I try to run the file, it says it's corrupted and that I should delete it. Help?

Sorry about the confusion. Currently SUMLauncher shouldn't be used for updating the game, as contents have moved around in the game, so updating doesn't always work properly.

Anyway, the reason that difference is showing up is because of an issue in the game's version system, and should be resolved on the next game update. You probably already have the most current version.

Everytime I see a post that shows me that the poster couldn't be bothered to read the troubleshooting section in the opening post I want to kill myself.

It keeps saying initializing, but nothing happens (Windows).
