Hello guys,
I heard some of you are trying to run Overgrowth on a 2011 MacBook 13" with Intel HD 3000 graphics. Did anyone succeed in running the full released game with an acceptable framerate? With my computer it’s down to around 5 fps…
(for those interested: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3, 2,3 GHz Intel Core i5, El Capitan, just 10 GB of free hard disk space, graphic settings on lowest values)

The Intel HD 3000 GPU is well below the minimum required specs to run the game these days. You'll probably need an nVidia or AMD GPU to play the game with any sort of reasonable performance.
You could try this guide: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =940734324
I don't think the game is optimized enough to play acceptably on an HD 5000 at this point (one barely above min specs), let alone one below the minimum required specs. More game optimizations will be made in the future, but you'll probably be better served by getting a computer capable of modern gaming anyhow.

Yes, I realised that according to this and other sources it is not supported. And reasonable to try it on a different machine.
However during development some people used a 2011-MacBook and I would like to know, if anyone still tries it. And if not, I guess you could also update this site:

That's a community created and supported list (a wiki). It is not an officially endorsed. We can't afford to test with all that hardware
I can put a warning at the top about that if that would help clear things up. Since it is community supported, that means you're also free to edit the entry for your computer.
