Yeah that's true, it's been fixed for the upcoming version.

I can verify that. Without any AI, on levels like Red Shards, I can a good 60-70fps, but whenever I'm in combat with 3 AIs, especially in the water arena, my frames are murdered dead to like, 16fps on the counter, even worse when they all have weapons. The Courtyard Arena also has some lag after some time of playing, but the fire Arena performs excellent, even with 3 npcs with weapons.
