Wait a second...does your cat on the picture have actual pupils, or a picture of the whole texture in place of where the pupils should be?

na its just the texture on the mesh. they are not modeled in

Whenever I put a texture on the model a mini version of the whole thing appears in the eyes.
I also see that the model you are using is the exact one I'm talking about. Only 2 of 4 of the fingers are rigged ect... is the whole skeleton in one of those files you can't open without a script?

you can't open a phoenix file in blend as long as I've known. i tried but it doesn't work. as for the finger rig i don't know if your not checking answers to this question that you have posted in at least 5 different posts but, this was answered for you in two separate post, the game uses morph targets for fist, blink, and jaw movement. so they don't have bones. and the blend files are complete you don't need all fingers to have bones.
