I've been looking into the problem, and I haven't been able to fix it yet. You probably don't have everything yet... but I will try and resolve this issue soon...

Can anyone tell me if I've got everything?

This looks like more of a frontend error, since it's trying to download the file null. Anton, you might be able to do a dirty fix if you add a file called null to your server.

I'm going to get this dealt with by this weekend, though I can't devote the time to it now because of a math test I need to study for. I'm not sure exactly why this happens for this page specifically (my algorithm works fine for everything else, something on this page must be different somehow), but I should be able to have a fix out in a couple days.

A quick google search would have shown you otherwise: http://www.avg.com/ww-en/faq.num-3857
Works great thanks! I did search online but couldn't find anything, wrong keywords I guess.

For some reason the tab mod has been causing problems with menu mod installer in SUMLauncher, so I have temporarily removed it... people will need to download and install the tab mod from Last's forum post manually for the time being. We will try to correct this problem as soon as possible...

If you have been having errors installing the menu mod because of the /null file, you can install it correctly now, and should be good to go.

SUMLauncher Alpha 1.8 is now available:

Code: Select all

• Fixed bug where the Menu Mod would not properly install/update.
• Added 'Split Screen' tag to the config editor.
You can grab the new version by running the SUMLauncher and choosing to update when prompted (new users can find downloads in the first post).

By default the launcher looks for a list of tags, which it then displays with a nicer name. For example the 'texture_redux' tag from the config file is displayed as 'Texture Quality' in the Launcher.

Any tag that the SUMLauncher doesn't know about will still be displayed automatically, but without the nice name. Therefore up until now the split screen option was displayed as it was in the config file as 'split_screen'.

This update adds the 'split_screen' tag to the list of known tags that SUMLauncher checks for first so it displays nicer as "Split Screen" and not 'split_screen'

I can confirm that the Windows version works on Linux perfectly fine via Wine.

Thank you Anton and Aaron :)

Sweet! I was planning on adding native Linux support once Overgrowth was running on Linux properly as well, I don't think it'll take me too long (don't quote me on that though :P ).

Why does SUM require administrative access?
