Could someone help me in trying to make Overgrowth run on a lower end device?

it would be helpful that you tell us the specs of this device. Also does the game get into the main menu at all?

Whenever I try to load an overgrowth map it crashes and says: overgrowth.exe has stopped working. No .dmp files are created. I've never had problems before a205 and my pc has never had problems running overgrowth. I don't get lag at all as long as I don't run the game in fullscreen.

I'm also in the same boat.

Could anyone attempt to shed some light? This is the first time I've installed Overgrowth on my new PC (my previous one had a motherboard failure).

Specs:
AMD Quad-Core A10-5757M
AMD Radeon HD 8650G
6GB DDR3 RAM
Windows 8(.1) (64-bit)

Since this laptop is more powerful than my previous one, the only difference I can think of is that it's something to do with Windows 8. I've never had anything before a205 on this machine so I don't know if it would've worked with a204.

What is the button for the in game settings menu? Is it supposed to be the one the comes with the level editor menu when you press escape? Also when I increase the anisotropic filter or anti aliasing filter past x2 the screen turns black, this can be rectified by lowering them but it's still perplexing. But I can otherwise increase the details and other settings fine. Also keep up the great work! :D

I can no longer set my resolution to any size I want, due to the game acting weird. If I do set it to anything other that my native resolution, the game plays in a little box in the corner. (This is on fullscreen by the way. I am also on the advance testing branch.)

EDIT: Steam doesn't let me opt out of the advance testing branch for some reason.
