Wouldn't there be copyright issues with that? Especially since the game is unreleased as yet?

It looks like he just rerigged the model used in Overgrowth. If that's the case, he has no permission to share an edited form of it,

It's not my intellectual property to distribute, I'd like to get Wolfires permission before releasing it, after all, indie developing carries a certain sense of ethics that I'd like to adhere to.

Well Turner was made in Blender, and there's a plug-in for Blender that lets you save files in the format that Gmod uses. So someone could open up Turner's Blender file and convert it to .smd format and throw it into your models folder.

Since Source is a bitch to work with it's a bit more advanced than that.
