i get a whale fail msg saying that I'm missing textures/skies/blue2.tga_arena(1,2, or 3)_cube.dds

Just download Blue2.tga from Anton's site. Put it in "data>textures>skies."

Hello. I'm on the latest alpha (138 I believe) and I'm getting the bad xml error as well. I placed the loose files themselves in the data/levels folder. Any help would be great!

This thread is very old, and probably very out of date.
These maps are included in the Menu Mod, which can be installed using SUMLauncher. - Once installed, on the bottom set of maps, you will need to scroll over a ways to find them. There will be a grouping of Hale's maps, and these will be labeled "Hale - Arena 1" etc.

I fixed these maps, I had to copy a block from an old alpha since it wasnt on the files anymore.
The maps are City Duel, Desert Slayer and Citadel Arena.
