Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
The unofficial, Overgrowth a141 leaked build is here!
(watch in hd)
Changelog:
- Updated Boost to 1.47
- Added abstract collision world
- Fast hotspot and character collisions
- Hotspot enter and exit events
- Debug wire mesh drawing
- Script convex hull collision queries
- Convex hull used for character field-of-view checks
- Flinch for failed active blocks
- Better AI blocking with reaction time
- Fix for simultaneous character script updates
- Fading debug draw
A "leaked build" is when John and I grab the latest SVN build and package it up for you guys. It has a ton of known bugs, so don't worry if it doesn't work for you. It is not condoned by David and Aubrey but we want to keep you guys in the loop and give you stuff to play with regularly!
If you find any bugs, please email a full description along with your system specs to [email protected]. We are testing out a new bug system.
*NOTE* Please remember that these are unofficial alphas and they do not represent a finished product. They are not even polished builds, just straight up raw development dumps not intended for public consumption.
To download the alpha, use one of these links:

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
I get the error "The specified key does not exist." when downloading the fallback, and I can't download the torrent because no one is seeding
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
Try again in a few minutes, I will be seeding when I get home.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
Can you mabye upload a setup instead of the whole .exe file? Takes a long time for me (and probably many others) to download 1.5gig via the browser or torrent.
Oh and it takes me roughly 40 minutes to download it, I am located in Norway. (Maxing the speed at 688KB/s)

I can imagine this will take a while anyways since there does not seem to be an official Awesomium 1.6 SDK out for Linux yet. beta sure, no official tho'.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
Hey i finished downloading the alpha but whenever i try and open it, it says, "You cannot open the application Overgrowth a140 because it is not supported on this architecture".

You can update from one week's alpha to the next one by downloading the file after the text "Just want the changes from the latest alpha". Here's the link to this week's: http://cdn.wolfire.com/alpha/diffs/a141.zipCopopit wrote:Can you mabye upload a setup instead of the whole .exe file? Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a141, weekly build
Just something I've noticed.
The Leg Cannon attack, the one where you kick off of them in mid air, is way over powered.
I figured out that in most fights if you just do the little hop and click before they attack you can usually one shot them, or hit them and then the force of them hitting the ground finishing them off.
Edit:
Also the throw after a sweep makes little to no sense
