How many of you liked/bought the game with trial pay?

I pose the question because in chatting with one of the devs they were unsure if they were going to re-implement it or not and i think they should.

I thought that having a thread might show support for the method of payment.

Huh, I didn't know it ended. I didn't do it that way, but I'm okay with it as long as Wolfire gets their due. It's a deal for consumers, but the devs get their money, so I'm happy with it. I heard that it's really cool. There was a guy who used it for a lotto card or some gambling thing, and came out of it with a couple hundred euros. I probably have lots of details wrong there, but it was something like that.

I bought it with trial pay. Worked great for me, but that was back in december 2008.

Was easy to do.

I bought OG with it a couple months ago. I only paid $9.99 and I got both OG and some language CDs, so I consider that an excellent deal. Of course, the Pimsleur people automatically enrolled me in their CD-of-the-month program or whatever, so I just canceled that and kept the original trial set.

We are upgrading the order system and haven't had a chance to reintegrate TrialPay yet.

is there an ETA as to when it will be re-implemented?

I think they're working on it, but something about an update or it causing issues. I don't know if it will be usable soon, but I would think they'd like it working again. Have you tried to catch Jeff, or maybe Aubrey on the IRC, one of them could maybe tell you what's up.

I dunno. I am too now, but sometimes I can get on and others I get blocked. It's weird.

I got blocked from the in browser irc thing but it worked fine on mirc.

I did, I had been meaning to order the game and buy a domain name so when I found out I could get a domain name and the game for just the price of a domain name naturally I jumped on that.
